Over the last decade (it’s almost been a full ten years since I started working on my first game… I can’t believe it!), I have had the great fortunate of working on some amazing projects and with some brilliant minds. While much of my time is spent consulting, somehow the list of games that I’ve been involved with has grown quite large. As time permits, I’ll work on gathering my thoughts on what I’ve done. One day, this may be a nearly complete. Until then…
Eldritch Errors (Creator, Producer, Writer…)
Eldritch Errors is an immersive horror series playing out in real time – on the internet, in the real world, and in your nightmares. This independent project created by myself & Brian Clark of GMD Studios allows us to explore various ways in which independent producers can establish their own IP in the transmedia space.
Project Abraham (Lead Designer)
Project Abraham told the story of Nathan Hale, the protagonist in the Resistance video games. Each week players decided which character would undergo experimental treatment… and then get to watch videos of the gruesome results. Would they save Nathan or immediately send him to likely death? (they sent him… of course!) And what would they learn in the process?
Why So Serious? (Production Assistance & Live Event Manager)
One of the largest transmedia campaigns to date, Why So Serious? brought Gotham to life for millions worldwide and let players take a direct role in the events leading up to the premier of The Dark Knight.
Board 2 Street (Creator, Producer, Designer)
Board 2 Street is my way of exploring the mechanics & game play of traditional board games and transforming them into something fun to play outside and, most importantly, without a game board. More than just a theoretical exercise, it is a ton of fun.
ARGFest (Chair, 2010)
ARGFest is a community-driven conference & games festival centered around transmedia entertainment & alternate reality gaming. By combining the experience of fan cons and professional conferences, ARGFest provides the unique opportunity for those working in & with Alternate Reality Games to come together and share with members of the playing community without the normal barriers between them.
